Trust Women, Photoshop, and Campaign Shenanigans

Sorry for the incessant posts about the Marshall/Huelskamp, but this race out west is nasty, (and I don't like being accused of using Photoshopped information!)

So, to put a final nail in the coffin of that lie, I give you this story from the Hutchinson News, in which the Trust Women spokesperson admits they did publish a voter guide calling Roger Marshall pro-choice. It's worth noting that in a campaign email after the voter guide was released, Marshall called Huelskamp a "liar and a hypocrite" for noting the Trust Women voter guide's description of Marshall. I guess the lesson for all of us here is never take the word of a bunch of abortionists. Marshall says he's pro-life. I'll leave it to voters to decide what Marshall's position on life is.

Not to put too fine a point on it, I'll also leave you with these tweets, indicating that the Trust Women Foundation's now infamous and vanquished voter guide did exist.

The entire thing is vanished shortly after it was "corrected" and reposted. Today, the second coming of the Trust Women voter guide has been scrubbed from the interwebs.

  1. What is the most ideal approach to wreck human services change? Simple, guarantee that the advocates of such change will take away advantages from the thriving positions of senior nationals. Add to that a squeeze of government passing advisory groups, cases of higher expenses and absence of decision and the normal individual will modest over from any significant change. http://www.mordocrosswords.com/2016/08/throwing-into-confusion.html
