Americans for Prosperity is a great organization dedicated to advancing free market principles. The group has rallied grassroots volunteers through training and educational efforts. There's a national organization and several states also have state AFP chapters. I'm a fan.
There's also an American for Prosperity Foundation. I believe the two organizations are related. But for some reason, the foundation is tweeting a series of diet and exercise tips from its blog.
It's odd, and I'm confused. It's like I was wondering around the Internet seeking the conservative 4-1-1, and I tripped over some Rachel Ray, daytime talk programming.
Is AFP somehow redirecting its energies? I don't get it.
I have no idea about this particular issue, but AFP has been losing its way for a while, with too much focus on data mining than on real organizing and information, like they used to excel at.
